Fiberglass Cloth Tape, 2 inch by 50 yd

This fiberglass tape is a plain weave fiberglass fabric designed to be used with resin as part of a finished composite part. The convenient, easy-handling format makes it ideally suited for selective reinforcement of fiberglass laminates, such as seams and edges of molds, as well as applications like pipe winding.

These tapes are not adhesive-backed and require an epoxy, polyester, or vinyl ester resin. They have the same plain weave construction, which provides uniform strength in both horizontal and vertical directions, a key quality commitment from our fiberglass tape products. Each full roll measures 50 yards and is 2 inches wide.

The fiberglass tapes offer excellent abrasion resistance, thermal insulation properties, and waterproof characteristics. They also boast superior tensile strength. Woven from E-glass fibers with a strong selvage edge, these tapes prevent fraying and unraveling of the fabric edges. The narrow widths eliminate the need for cutting wider fiberglass fabrics down to size, increasing accuracy and productivity.
